Collapsed lung, concussion and a number of fractures: Fundraiser arrange for first ever Tour de France Féminin winner following crash



The first winner of the Tour de France Féminin, Marianne Martin, suffered a collapsed lung, concussion, fractured clavicle and collarbone, and 12 damaged ribs in a critical crash earlier this month.

The 66-year-old crashed as she descended Sunshine Canyon, simply outdoors of Boulder, Colorado, within the US on 6 October, and was in Boulder Group Hospital for over every week after that, together with a number of days within the intensive care unit.
