“It’s annoying but it surely’s all value it”: Kasper Asgreen celebrates first Giro d’Italia win



Kasper Asgreen took a sensational solo victory from a breakaway, after dramatic stage 14 left the Giro d’Italia extensive open.

Asgreen led with 4 riders from 165km to go, however left Mirco Maestri (Polti VisitMalta) and Martin Marcellusi (VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faizane)in his tracks with simply 5km to the tip to beat the remainder of the sphere by 16 seconds.
